ASI timing

So you get an ASI. You assume that by receiving the ASI you look at the plans supplied with the ASI and price accordingly. Submit ASI. Normally something like that should be approved and paid for within months. Instead 9 months later architect returns and says structurals show CMU even though the original architecturals show framed non-bearing load walls. So why even issue an ASI and ask for the necessary pricing? Then why wait for 9 months only to put it back on the sub. Did they ask the framers for a credit? The whole thing stinks and yet they act like it is all normal. My next post will touch on a fundamental issue that is related to this ASI and a realization.
